PC Repair, seems legit! Isn't it? Actually, this program is a fake system defragmenter application that functions and claims to improve PC performance by regularly fixing PC issues and such but provides none of these in real. The application can enter a vulnerable Windows PC through a peephole in your PC by exploiting vulnerabilities within. PC Repair appears as a pop up while you are busy browsing the web or doing a search through it. After getting an illegitimate entry, PC Repair compromises PC performance and shuts down many applications even anti-virus programs as well. After that it tricks a user to buy the full version of it in order to resolve all these issues. The online form takes in your credit card credentials and email ID etc. for providing the full version.
However, PC Repair version is good for nothing and does nothing like it claims to a user. What it does is only cheating on a user and get his/her credentials easily. Hence, the best way to prevent it from tricking you is to remove PC Repair in the first place.
